Lhasa Apso is originated from China but American Bully is originated from United States. Lhasa Apso may grow 22 cm / 8 inches shorter than American Bully. Lhasa Apso may weigh 42 kg / 92 pounds lesser than American Bully. Both Lhasa Apso and American Bully has almost same life span. Both Lhasa Apso and American Bully has almost same litter size. The Lhasa Apso is a non-sporting dog hailing from Tibet. He was a useful dog to the monks who would use him in the palaces as well as the monasteries to ward off intruders.
He actually takes his name from the holy city of Lhasa, with the history of the breed going back to 600BC.
Today he is a true companion dog, a family dog, known as as the Tibetan Apso, the Bearded Lion Dog, the Apso and Lhasa.
The dog has been recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1935, in the Non-Sporting Group category.
The American Bully breed was founded in the United States in the mid of 1990s also recognized by the United Kennel Club on July 15, 2013. They are augmentation from the American Pit Bull Terrier breed. The ultimate goal of creating this breed was the best family companion. They are selective breeding which means the characteristics and their temperament are artificial ones. So they are influenced by several other breeds like English Bulldog and Olde English Bulldog. Lhasa Apsos are small dogs which stand at between 25 to 28cm in height and weigh in the region of 6 to 8kg.
